Central Vacuum Systems

Central vacuums have been around for many years. With the ability to have a larger motor you gain extra power without having a heavy vacuum to haul around the house. You also don’t have to listen to a noisy vacuum the entire time. There are a couple of different types of central vacuums systems that we sell and install. The two main brands we work with are Dirt Devil and Nutone Vacs. Electrical Communication Specialists offers complete design, sales and installation of your central vacuum system. We also sell all of the accessories that you want to complete your system such as the vacuum power head, floor and upholstery attachments as well as hoses and hose socks. A couple variations of central vacuum systems include:

Hide-A –Hose System

Hide-A-Hose solves the problem of carrying and storing a central vacuum hose.

You’ll never have to carry or store a bulky central vacuum hose again. Simply pull out the amount of hose you need from the inlet valve, connect your cleaning wand (with attachment) and begin vacuuming.

When you’re finished, detach the cleaning wand from the hose and the suction from the central vacuum power unit retracts the hose into the SmartTube™ system hidden behind the wall. Hose lengths are customized according to the size of the floor. Each inlet can cover up to 2300 sq. ft.

Standard Inlet System

These are the typical systems you have seen in homes for generations. They are reliable and simple to use as well as very affordable. Typically we would install as many inlets or kick pans as needed to cover your space and connect it all back to the main unit in the garage or utility room. There are both powered inlets and unpowered inlets so depending on your installation we can choose the right one for the job.
